Hello everyone,
It is with profound disappointment and sadness that I send this note. Today, the day after, we awaken, yet again, to a nation and world divided. Yesterday's election has proven beyond a doubt that America is solidly divided. We remain a nation and world in crisis. A new vision, compass, and leadership seem to await another time.
I have not, precisely, decided what I, personally, can and will do to carry on the fight to right America. But this much I know, we must continue the fight. We can not be dissuaded by the fear and rancor of those who would silence us and our message. If we are to remain a great nation, dissent, diversity, and tolerance must prevail.
Finally, I want to take this opportunity to thank each of you for having read my emails over the past months. I hope you found them helpful. I wish each and everyone of you all the blessings that life has to offer. I wish you strength and comfort in the knowledge that we have fought "the good fight"; we are right to be concerned for America and our role in leading the world.
Pax vobiscum,
...mark
